Notre Dame and the Creation of Sacred Architecture as a Symbol

I was asked to write the article about Notre Dame as it was being rededicated. The article talks about the development of the cathedral as a symbol of French and human values. It is very interesting to consider that during the French Revolution it was a symbol of something close to the opposite. How did it’s associations change? Consult Victor Hugo and read the article.

Victor Hugo created this cool image of Notre Dame de Paris. Also, he basically saved it from destruction.
